My cheese and sausage omelet and hash browns were great. I had also ordered sausage gravy & biscuits. It was not what I am accustomed to, but I was full from my omelet and just couldn't eat it all. The atmosphere was great with t.v. with great viewing angles throughout. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. They mention on the menu that you can upgrade your home fries. So I had to ask. The upgrade consists of adding onions, peppers, and mushrooms (I think was the 3rd). I said I had to ask... because...i was curious "if" sausage gravy could be one of the upgrades. And thought she thought it could be very good... unfortunately...it was not. Maybe it could be...if more people asked about it. Anyways, I would go back, but we live 2 hours south and was in town for an appointment, so I won't just be dropping in, but if ever there before 3:00 p.m. I most likely will. They serve breakfast until 3:00 p.m. my kind of place. Enjoy!
Went here for breakfast. I had the avocado toast, which comes with cherry tomatoes halved and an egg on top. You get 2 slices with this. I also got a hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. Everything was delicious and fresh. Seems to be a popular place. Suzzi, my waitress was very friendly and checked on me often. You can eat dinner and lunch here as well. It seemed like there was a bar in a separate room. Looks like you could have a private party in a separate room as well. They have a covered patio that they much have seating in warmer weather. They handicap parking and a ramp up to the door as well.
Stopped in for “brunch” which was an availability of both breakfast and lunch menus. The parking lot was overflowing, but there was no wait so don’t be put off. The bacon was some of the best I’ve had, as was the Polish sausage. The portions were big enough, and everything was high quality. It’s unfortunate that I live too far away to be a regular, so the best I can do is leave a good review and a fat tip.
Good food & service. Laid back atmosphere. Large variety of options for the whole family...even had fried bologna. Staff was very willing to make substitutions. Comparing to a "big chain" this has a feel of dining at a Cracker Barrel. Bathrooms were very clean. A huge plus in a restaurant. The only knock on service was time. Took a little longer than anticipated for what we ordered and they were not real busy. But very friendly and accommodating.

I have been wanting to go to the Howling Rooster for quite some time. And I was not at all disappointed tonight with the entrees. They were wonderful and the pork and beef meatballs were an unexpected change from the typical Italian meatballs. Very tasty.
The THR is All American Breakfast. Extremely friendly staff, quick service, my vegetarian egg breakfast with home fries were delicious.
